Mission Statement
The mission of the Philadelphia School of Irish Music is to foster the musical traditions of Ireland and Irish-America in the Delaware Valley through learning opportunities and social events that encourage the study and practice of traditional Irish music.
The PSIM teaching roster includes:
- Brendan Callahan - fiddle
- Paddy O'Neill - wooden flute, whistle
- John Brennan - guitar (DADEAE tuning)
- Kathy DeAngelo - harp
- Dennis Gormley - guitar (DADGAD tuning), bouzouki
- Brian Boyce - 2-row button & piano accordion
- Dave Hansen - bodhran, percussion
- Bob Michel - concertina, banjo
- Chris Brennan Hagy - suzuki fiddle program
