Upcoming St. Patrick's Day Events
As the calendar passes President's Day, the season always seems to turn a late winter green as Irish music, dance & culture are celebrated during the weeks leading up to (and including!) St. Patrick's Day. Here is a list of upcoming concerts and events in the Philadelphia area this St. Patrick's Day season:
- Sat, 3/3, 8pm: Penn Presents: DERVISH. Zellerbach Theater, 3860 Walnut St, 19104. Admission $19+.
- Fri, 3/9, 7:30pm: SOLAS. World Cafe Live ~ SOLD OUT!
- Sat 3/17, 8pm: St. Patrick's Day Ceili, sponsored by the Philadelphia Ceili Group. Music by Kevin McGillian (button accordion), Jimmy McGillian (banjo), & Judy Brennan (piano). Commodore Barry Club, 6815 Emlen St, 19119. Admission $15.
- Sat 3/31, 8pm: Maeve Donnelly (fiddle) & Tony McManus (guitar) in concert. Coatesville Cultural Society, 143 E. Lincoln Hwy, 19320. Admission $15.

Well we've got it all figured out for ya, come join the Philadelphia School of Irish Music, and we'll get you on your way to playing jigs & reels to your hearts content! PSIM's roster of teachers is always welcoming to new & experienced students alike. All levels are taught and encouraged - there's never a better time than the present.
Don't have an instrument? We'll help you get one. Contact us and we'll refer you to own of our affiliated luthiers and instrument makers. You can get set up with the best, or just rent* for a while to see how much you like it.
